Piotr Samojlik
Piotr Samojlik is responsible for managing and developing the activities of VCP in Poland. He has long-standing experience in investment banking gained at Creditanstalt Investmentbank (CAIB). From 1999 to 2006 Mr. Samojlik was in charge of the corporate finance operations of CAIB in Poland, directly responsible for privatisations, M&A, structured finance and project finance activities. He actively participated in all major transactions advised by CAIB in the Polish market. Under his leadership, CAIB won several prestigious awards as best M&A house in Poland.
Mr. Samojlik graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics majoring in foreign trade. He also studied for two years at the department of computer programming at the Rockville Montgomery College (USA). He is fluent in Polish and English with additional working knowledge in Russian.
